Why do I have to be a member?

Because we make our rosin from the fresh liquid sap of living trees, our production is both seasonal and limited.

During season, we all work 16–18-hour days in an effort to reach as many members as possible, but things like temperature and rainfall amounts dictate much of our production capabilities, and as such, some seasons run longer (or shorter) than others. In other words, mother nature has more control over our production capabilities than we do.

Even with 80 acres of trees at our disposal, we still struggle to meet the demand for our rosins, and utilizing a members list allows us to have some control over production and sales. If we were to allow open retailing of our family rosins, we'd "sell" more than we can produce, and would end up in trouble.
