When will I receive an invitation?
The simple answer is: There's no way for us to know :(
Because we make our rosin from the fresh liquid sap of living trees, our production is both seasonal and limited, as we are very much at the mercy of mother nature, and things like temperature and rainfall amounts dictate much of our production capabilities. As such, some seasons run longer (or shorter) than others, because mother nature is more in control of our production capabilities than we are.
Invitations are sent to members based on the availability of rosin at that time, and when they registered. At the start of each season, we pickup wherever we left off on the members list during the previous season, so it also depends on when you became a member, and where we are in the current rotation.
Please remember though, we make each member order fresh, one batch at a time, and it takes about 30 hours to distill a single batch. That doesn't take into account the time it takes us to tap the raw colophony from our trees, nor the time required to assemble and package the finished product. During season, we all work 16–18-hour days in an effort to reach as many members as possible, so believe me when I say, we try our very best to take care of everyone waiting as quickly as we can.
